John P. MICKLE (1818-1900) He was born February 8, 1818, in Tyrone Township, York County, Pennsylvania. He was the

son of Griffith MICKLE and Rebecca Unknown (possibly POLK). He married Jane THOMPSON, the daughter of unknown parents,

circa 1842, in Pennsylvania or Ohio (probably Mansfield, Ohio). He died September 19, 1900, in Jefferson Township, Ringgold

County, Iowa.
