DAY
2, June 14th, 2005, Warsaw Cemetery
We were up at the crack of dawn, again, to call
the front desk in the hope that our luggage was delivered. No such
luck. So I called United Airlines. I had a 15 minute wait on the
phone to United who informed me our luggage is on it’s way
and will be here later today. So we planed our day, bought some
clothes from the hotel gift shop to help tide us over for the day.

First stop was the
Warsaw Cemetery. With a map in hand we jumped in the car and headed
east out of Buffalo on Route 20. I estimated the drive to be about
an hour or so. Route 20 took us through some of the most beautiful
villages, towns and hamlets that I have ever seen. Our primary goal
for today is to locate the Warsaw and Hatch Cemetery’s. |

Warsaw Cemetery, Wyoming County, New York
After a few hours searching at the Warsaw
Cemetery, we found more than we could have ever hoped for.
Now it’s time move onto our next goal for the day, the
Hatch Family Cemetery. Our research on this cemetery is not
very complete and I didn’t really think we would find
it. The caretaker had given us a few tips that we didn’t
have and we followed his recommendations. As luck and good
advice would have it, we found what Beverly’s Grandmother
couldn’t find! |
